Why is my account in warm-up and what does it do?
The account warm-up is a built-in safety feature designed to help keep your LinkedIn account safe while using ReachBoost.
Warm-up is automatically enabled as soon as you connect your LinkedIn account and gradually increases activity levels until your account reaches its normal operating limits.
Why does ReachBoost use a warm-up?
Suddenly starting a large amount of automated activity can increase risk on LinkedIn accounts. The warm-up process gradually introduces activity, allowing your account to slowly adapt to automation and maintain natural behavior patterns.
A gradual increase in activity is generally safer than immediately running campaigns at full capacity.
How does the warm-up work?
When you connect your LinkedIn account, ReachBoost performs a health check on your account. Based on this assessment, your account is placed into a specific warm-up pool.
Factors that may influence the warm-up duration include the overall health and activity history of your LinkedIn account.
Depending on the outcome of this assessment, the warm-up period typically lasts between 2 and 4 weeks. During this period, ReachBoost progressively works towards the maximum number of actions that can safely be executed on your account.
Can I manually enable warm-up?
Yes. If warm-up has been disabled, you can manually enable it again.
This is especially recommended if:
- You have not run campaigns for an extended period of time.
- Your LinkedIn account has been inactive for a while.
- You want to gradually restart outreach activities.
Can I disable warm-up?
Yes, warm-up can also be manually disabled. However, we generally do not recommend doing this.
Disabling warm-up may increase the risk of introducing activity too quickly. For maximum account safety, we recommend keeping warm-up enabled.
Summary
The warm-up feature helps to:
- Gradually increase LinkedIn activity levels
- Maintain natural account behavior
- Adapt activity based on your account health
- Improve long-term account safety
For most users, keeping warm-up enabled is the recommended approach to ensure outreach campaigns can scale safely over time.
