What does the rerun validation button do?

The Rerun Validation button allows you to reconnect and revalidate your LinkedIn account within ReachBoost.

You can find this option by going to:
LinkedIn Accounts → View Details → Rerun Validation

When you click this button, you'll be asked to enter your LinkedIn login credentials again. ReachBoost will then reconnect your LinkedIn account and refresh the account information.

When should you use Rerun Validation?

You should rerun the validation process in the following situations.

Your LinkedIn subscription changed
For example, if you switch:

  • From a regular LinkedIn account to Sales Navigator
  • From Sales Navigator back to a regular LinkedIn account

Revalidating ensures ReachBoost recognizes the new LinkedIn subscription and updates the available functionality accordingly.

You changed your LinkedIn login credentials
If you changed your LinkedIn password or other login details, ReachBoost will need to reconnect using the updated credentials.

Your LinkedIn account became disconnected
In some cases, LinkedIn may disconnect the session between your account and ReachBoost. Running the validation process again reconnects your account and restores normal operation.
If your LinkedIn account is disconnected, campaigns and automated actions may pause until the account has been successfully revalidated.

How to rerun validation

Step 1 - Open LinkedIn account details
Go to LinkedIn Accounts and select View Details for the relevant account.

Step 2 - Click Rerun Validation
Click the Rerun Validation button.

Step 3 - Enter your LinkedIn credentials
Provide your LinkedIn login details and complete any verification steps requested by LinkedIn, such as:

  • Approving a login notification on your phone
  • Entering an SMS verification code
  • Entering an email verification code

Once completed, your LinkedIn account will be reconnected to ReachBoost.

Tip: If you've recently upgraded to Sales Navigator and do not see Sales Navigator import options in ReachBoost, rerunning validation will usually resolve this immediately.
