Campaign progress explained

The campaign progress indicator shows how far your campaign has progressed based on the status of every lead in the sequence.
Each lead contributes to the overall progress. A lead can only be in one of these three states:

Lead status

Progress contribution

Pending

0%

Active

50% of a lead

Finished

100% of a lead

A lead is considered:

  • Pending when it has not yet started the sequence.
  • Active after it has received at least one message and is still progressing through the sequence.
  • Finished when it has completed the sequence or can no longer continue (for example, because it failed).

How progress is calculated

Every lead counts as one point toward the total campaign progress.
For a campaign with 250 leads, there are 250 total points, which equals 100% progress.

The contribution of each lead depends on its current status:

  • Pending = 0 points
  • Active = 0.5 points
  • Finished = 1 point

The total campaign progress is the sum of all lead points divided by the total number of leads.

Example 1

A campaign contains 100 leads:

  • 25 pending = 0%
  • 50 active = 25%
  • 25 finished = 25%

Campaign progress: 50%

Example 2

A campaign contains 250 leads:

  • 150 pending = 0%
  • 50 active = 10%
  • 50 finished = 20%

Campaign progress: 30%
