# How to blacklist leads?

Blacklisting allows you to permanently exclude specific leads from being targeted by ReachBoost.
Once a lead has been added to the blacklist, it will never be included in imports, campaigns, or outreach activities again.

### Add leads to the blacklist

**Step 1 - Open your lead list**
Navigate to the lead list containing the leads you want to exclude.

**Step 2 - Select the leads**
Select one or multiple leads using the checkboxes.

**Step 3 - Open other actions**
Click **Other Actions**.

**Step 4 - Add the leads to the blacklist**
Click **Add to Blacklist**.

### What happens after blacklisting?

Once a lead has been blacklisted:
* They will no longer be targetable in campaigns.
* They will be excluded from future outreach activities.
* They cannot be accidentally contacted again through ReachBoost.

**Note:** Blacklisting is useful for excluding existing customers, competitors, partners, or prospects who have requested not to be contacted again.
